RAMIN RAISZADEH, M.D.

Dr. Ramin Raiszadeh believes spinal ailments should not restrict anyone from enjoying life. His extensive education lets him draw upon the best technique to correct spinal disorders and get people back to doing the things they love, whether that’s a non-operative, operative or rehabilitative treatment. Dr. Raiszadeh treats spinal disorders caused by adult degenerative diseases, tumors, traumatic injuries, spinal deformities, and infections.

While earning his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Dr. Raiszadeh received the Paul Harrington Award for Research. He completed a specialized internship and residency program at Baylor, then pursued fellowship training at the University of Texas Medical School. Working under some top neurosurgeons and orthopedic spine surgeons, Dr. Raiszadeh became skilled in treating all forms of pediatric and adult spinal conditions.

Dr. Raiszadeh is now a sought-after expert in his field. He publishes articles on operative techniques and ambulatory surgical procedures in peer-reviewed medical journals and is frequently invited as a guest lecturer. He’s shared his expertise and knowledge at medical conferences throughout the U.S., Canada and Australia, including the Congress of Neurological Surgeons in Boston. Dr. Raiszadeh is an active member of professional organizations such as the North American Spine Society, Western Orthopedic Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

PAUL D. KIM, M.D.

Dr. Paul Kim is highly skilled at treating complex disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He uses both non-surgical and high-tech approaches, including motion-sparing technology in artificial disc replacement, and computer-assisted navigation. His favorite thing about his work is seeing patients recover. “The most professionally rewarding experience is to see my patient relieved of pain and return back to normal activities after suffering from neck or back ailments,” he says. “It is an honor to be entrusted with my patient’s health. I promise to use my knowledge and skills to provide honest, well-informed, non-operative and operative spine care to my patients.”

After graduating with honors from Cornell University, Dr. Kim completed medical school at Columbia University’s College of Physicians & Surgeons. He did his orthopedic surgery residency training at The New York Orthopedic Hospital at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, where he served as a chief resident. After his residency, Dr. Kim completed a spine fellowship at The Spine Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Saint John’s Health Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Dr. Kim has written many book chapters and peer-reviewed scientific articles, and been awarded research grants from the N.I.H. and the National Science Foundation. He’s a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), North American Spine Society (NASS) and Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (SMISS). Dr. Kim is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS).
